Empire City Stories - "Betrayal Vol. 8"

nullAfter a long hiatus, Empire City Stories is back with volume 8, and this one introduces bunch of new characters to the story on top of the 1st major milestone. Without spoiling anything...a LOT is changing following this volume. I'll be on a much more manageable schedule, so I'll be able to work on both of my comics a little more frequently. In this chapter, I further the story of our titular characters, as well as introduce a number of new characters such as Cosette Grace, the hypersexualize lawyer BFF of Christine Reese, and Priya Patel, BBF and business partner of Bianca Dupri. I also plant a few seeds for a side story that will tie into another comic I plan on working on soon. In this installment, I ramp up the storytelling with some unique character developments, specifically regarding Rory and Jaeleen. As hinted in vol.1, there's history between the 2. Volume 3 is now live, and this time around I've gone with an official comic book format! I found some tools that made things a bit easier, so I'll be using this format going forward. As for the story, it's pretty much hot passionate romance with some light hearted romance sprinkled in. I wanted to convey how uniquely different Henry and Bianca are, yet at the same time highlight the undeniable connection between the two. And yes, they certainly do "connect". 😉
