To all good people which like my work:

Recently I have a motivation crisis, I want to make this room and I've started it already but I have no energy and no ideas. My head is empty.

I need some time to start creation process again. Be patient. I hope I haven't dissapointed you.

One corner of the house is almost ready. 7 corners left 🤣. Does it look like old cottage with warm atmosphere ? There will be some pictures on the wall and few small things here and there.

I was looking for pretty kitchen furniture and I was not happy about them. I started to make whole kitchen by my own. As always furniture are done, there will be many small things like knifes, plates, frying pans etc.

Love this new project of yours but seeing the model in the kitchen isn´t the furniture a bit small or is the model very big? Imaging her standing in front of the sink it seems a bit out of proportion somewhere, or maybe it´s just me. Love it and hope you are ok with some opinions 🙂

Yeah it's to small. I wanted to fit the furniture to Windows and then i make a pic . 😉 Of course i will fix it. Any opinion is appreciated. 🙂

Looks great. see you fixed the windows to the kitchen. that would have been some work 🙂

Dont put to much detail in 1 spot. Hook does not like it very much. you can put a lot in it but make sure you devide it over your house to keep it running smooth.

I wonder what works better.

- 20 objects, 1 MB each

or

- one object combined from these 20 objects (20 MB )

Is it any difference ?

With such small size, without doubt it would be much more optimized to go with one object combination - assuming you combine the UVmaps into one and so have one texture instead of 20. Depends how much detail you need. Usually, with any architecture parts and similar elements, one could go truly 512-1024px and still have a good detail, or even lower (truly, walls and similarly uniformed textures doesnt need a lot of detail, maybe normal map as higher at most). Otherwise, if you need a bit higher detail, you could sort out those 20 objects into group of fours, based on needed texture complexity or maybe even necessary transparency (like glass elements).

Ok I did some research. My kitchen is finished (almost 😄 )     h5 file has 20MB, all textures 30 MB

Kitchen is a one object as at the picture (without walls, floor and chairs)

I thought about weaker PCs. My idea is when I want to make a picture for example in the  bathroom I could turn off other objects, like a kitchen and then it should work smoother, shouldn't it?

Aha, I thought you were making full room, as non-H5 object.

In general, some small objects in that scene could actually take a good chunk. Just that plant on the table, check how many polys it has. Or that bottle stand and plates behind. Overall, whenever possible, decimate all simpler objects.

For Hook objects its how many objects you will have in a frame that kills framerate. You can go nuts but make sure its scattered around your house. Also like x17 mentioned watch your polys to keep it running smooth.

Also using the same texture on different things makes it run smoother as the texture is loaded once. like you did with the kitchen and chairs and table.

using auto cubemap will also help a lot. as the lights will be build up through the specmaps and glowobjects. To do this you need to set the boundbox just around your house. If you need help with that let me know.

Looking good buddy 🙂
