Well, he gave me inspiration and now to you. That's nice. 

He's got some good ideas and started the locomotives to get running modding stuff.

Your work is always high quality and you would come up with something awesome, as always.

Having just spend time with @Sexvision  working on cubemaps, I can tell you it will be amazing! He is very dedicated and thoughtful. These screenshots are already looking top notch and I have no doubt the final product will wow us all! We are privileged to have so many great content creators here that are willing to help and coach the community along.

I like the request and its also a helps to do someone else its vision for a change. Makes me think about how to do it and have some communication.

I talked to Madie Yesterday. I had some questions on what the story line would be for this room.

Here is the story:

Two apartments with a pervy landlord and apartment two having a young couple as the tennants.

The Landlord is spying on the nextdoor apartment by installing camera's in a lot of places. He will have a closet that will hide his pervy hobby with doors that can be closed.

He is kind of techy so it will have some objects to sell this.

cameras will be in mirrors, vents, and smoke detectors, showerhead, toilet. He will have a multiple monitor setup so he can watch it all. Hook 5 camera setup will be used to show the different camera angles.

The room will also have the greenscreen option so i can use diffuse override on a monitor to. This will be hidden outside the room so it will be a option to pick up with a hook camera.

Here is the monitor setup: Its 9 different textures so every screen can have its own texture. also made a cork board for some pictures.

I have found a nice mesh of a computer in another room that im doing. So i spend some time last night on fixing that one for both rooms.

Still needs some texture work but most is working. 

I dont think it will have the rgb mousepad. I picture a older man so it will be somekind of leather.

I also separated the doors so i can set them as single objects. Remade the doorframe so a chair will work better.

Ran in to some trouble with reflections because both rooms use the same specmaps on different objects. So i can not use the bounds on both rooms. My solution is to use the bound of a single room to build the autocubemap. reflections will not match but its the best i can do without giving the second apartment its own textures and specmaps and lose fps due to texture load.

This will be a heavy setup because of the camera setup and loading 2 apartments with decorations. I will try to use small textures as much as i can without using to much detail to save some fps.

Every step you do in this room it make me realize on the hard work you take and that you are a very wise and hard working person, thank you very much for doing this! I hope the community likes the idea

I have started with a empty room so i can make two different looks in the same room.

Working on making the interior of the room.

I taking out the parts of the interior so i can make a env. pack for the interior.

All objects will be centered in blender so they can be used in any room you want. Or replaced to get a desired look.

The .mtl files are all emtpy so i need to reset all the textures to the meshes. Fun to do, its like a big pussle

Ater making the object env pack things speed up.

I think i will use this for the renters as its nice and simple. kind of like a first house.

After all the objects are done im gonna make the spec and normals to blend them in the scene.

This is shaping up to be something quite epic!

Ok progress report of last night and today

Made the balcony for testing. I used the rails from the lovers hotel because they are realy nice.

Is this big enough or do i need to make it bigger?

Played with the texture color a bit and put the original floor texture back in. These textures are realy good.

Most of the objects are now centered and put back in as a hook object. Still need to do some little stuff like books. That will be a collection. Better for the load.

I took out 1 door on every frame and will bring them back as hook objects so they can be opened and closed.

Things i still want to fix are:

- Fridge door as a hook object so it can be opened and closed.

- fix the clock and put the clock script on there.

- Making the sliding doors

- small books and stuff

- make a good balcony and fix the meshes. This is still a testfile.

- Make a hook object as a overlay on the livingroom big wall. This will be a color friendly walltexture that you can change the color from within the hook property tab for the object. This way you can change the look of the room very quick without leaving the game.

After that it room 2 its turn.

Color friendly wall test failed for now. I need alpha channel to prefent halo's. It in there but will be on a color texture.

You took this with really enthusiam and doing the best of you for it, thank you very much for your hard work and OF COURSE the TIME you put into this, Always happy to see how you make this advance and advance!

Its the cool part of making a blog of a room. I also can see my own progress

I will sent you a link to the files today so you can see what the FPS is doing on your end.

Could you also take a look a the balcony to see if its big enough?

Here is a little inside on how i operate.

Im suffer from Manic Depression. This means i fly at some points and can move mountains. That is what you have seen last week. Progress and learning is fast and im very enthusiastic. I try to finish my work in this week.

At the moment i have burned myself out because of last week, and progress will slow down. I will do repetitive work in this week to keep bussy and move forward waiting for the moment i will fly again.

The moments i flying are great, that moment that follows not so much.

Yeah I can understand a bit that, I suffered Anxiety and Depression years ago, its something not bad but its a bit generalized on my day to day.

I also, When I am high or "fly" Im optimistic and I want to learn and do all things togheder, learn blender, learn how a texture is done or works, the I ended doing nothing just because I try t o grab more that my hand could so I go back to my boring and repeatetive days, work eat and sleep work eat and sleep

dont worry about time, Rome wasnt builded in one day so things need their time and your great work also need it, but Im not leaving you left this room unfinished

oh and the balcony looks great, IDK if it should have a bit more space between the doors and where the balcony ends but I thing it should have something like a "Plate" or "Wall" dividing one from another, somehting high enough so one couldn't peek the other apartment so easy, Hope I am not beign too confusing, my english is pretty broken these days!

I find it very impressive you have learned to live with your troubles and make it work for you. I will also get there some day.

No problem with your english at all.

I will make a hook object as a wall to make the devider. That will be the easiest way and still keep the single apartment nice and clean. Also i will make the balcony a bit deeper so there is a little more room.

Progress  for today.

I have been working on the second apartment.

Centered a pack of objects i want to use so i can build it quick.

I want the apartment look different from the first.

Fixed the desk again and found a nice chair for it.

Build a double sink. to give it some class

Found a nice bed and sofa that fit the style

Working on new textures for the kitchen to make it color match the wood. This will bring it all together and looking nice.

I really like that the camera controls are in the "shady/darky" aparment! Great to see!
