So basically i bought  a new gaming PC in august and transferred my game folder on the new super fast NvME SSD for better loading speeds.... so who would have thought that newest system's SSD will get corrupted that fast … right? so in that belief I didn't took any backup whatsoever which is kind of not like me and it was kind of irresponsible at the very least and apparently yesterday evening when I was going to release some new models and I turn on the PC and voila its get stuck on repair screen, I tried like 10 different methods to get it back but no nothing. I had to reformat the drive and lost everything related to tk17 new models that I created new content that I made and along with all downloaded mods and all. now I can redownload the things which were not mine but the models... that is something that i cant recreate exactly how they were.... @Morius and @drmls and @DANDEE  I mainly disappointed these guys because they were interested in those new models that I show cased in competitions and seriously you guys I wanted to release them this Sunday whenever i got the chance but alas things completely crapped out.

At max i promise that i will definitely try to recreate those models and i hope i will succeed at least 80-90%

Sorry to disappoint you guys and all others who were counting on me for those models.

Wow- that's awful! I hope you'll be able to recover some of it- and if not, you surely won't lose the talent you have. I know you will make things as good and even better. Still- what a gut punch!

Holy Crap!!!  That really sucks.

If I lost everything I've done over the years, including my back-up files... I'd be in a really dark place.

@ArtsAndCrafty , @Codename-74 and all who had lost something to the evil spirits of formating - there are data recovery softwares which can recover part or all of the damaged HD!  And it's very cheap, because it's a software! Consult your technician!

I didn't lose everything.  Thank goodness!  I said "If" I lost... 

I'm not sure that these recovery actions will work if it was already formatted.

Would they?  It's an understatement to say that I am not tech savvy.

Sounds like factory error SSD, sadly. I have three external HDDs, one of them is like a decade old, never had any problems.

Sadly, this just reminds us all, that more frequent and multiple backups are good to have. At least of that content, thats nowhere else to be found, like on other sites.

I wouldn't bet to data recovery software with an already formatted SSD, recovering is not that easy as it used to be with mechanical drives 😐

Anyways, here's good news for you, you can re-download all your previously downloaded mods without spending a single XP as system only deducts your XP with the first download, then... is free forever

I think if he can make an honest question with a technician without being charged for that, it's worth to know. In my experience, I had recovered files from a formated HD. Granted, it wasn't an SDD HD, but it's worth the shot.

And that's very cool! But I have a question: If I downloaded something Free and latter the uploader charges 5xp. When I try to download again, it'll be free for me or 5xp will be deducted? How about the oposite?

🤔 Hmm well I never stopped to think about that but is highly probable that if item has been updated and value has changed the system will deduct again

But anyways, is not that items are updated every day and most users give a permanent XP value to their files

But gotta check how it works in that case, I'll keep you posted 🙃

Sorry man....that has to suck.  I backed up my entire Development folder and game to Mega last week, because thee is shit that honestly these days you cannot just get back.

The WORST part is i am ALREADY facing ENORMOUS amount of problems in my work and personal life which is ALRAEDY EATING ME ALIVE, and basically on festival evening which probably i am supposed to be happy and GIVE A FAKE SMILE to everyone that everything is okay when its clearly not, this motherfuckin SHIT happens, probably the last thing that would have taken my mind off other things - just CRAPS OUT. Even a freakin MACHINE dont want to help me in these times.

..... TIMES like this just make you think that what i have done wrong.... that i am facing all this? whom i have done wrong to? what is my fault? what i have done in my past life?
can i just live a simple normal life..... i dont want anything extra ordinary.... i dont want to be greatest .... i dont want world records....
JUST WANT SIMPLE FREAKIN LIFE thats IT....

haven't i have faced enough? struggling my last decade fighting problems? giving up my freaking teenage days and younger days.... and after those cleared out i thought hey man - now its my time - now everything will be okay - now i will live....... Next year i will be in my 30s - Jeez just give me a fuckin break! Just cut me some slack..
but its like universe wants me to keep giving exam until i am broken completely and sucked up from inside.....
MANN ........DAMN.... i just teared up heavily writing all these. When will my time come? will it come when it will be too late? when all hope inside me will completely end? makes me wonder.....

Really? Your NvME SSD crapped out? What brand/make was it? I currently have 2 M.2, ScanDisk Ultra and a WD black and both are great IMO. I'm not sure if load time would improve this game, haven't really tried it. I got this game pinned on a SSD hybrid as its file size is bit bloated lol
