Malena "La Maligna" Garcia
Malena "Malegna" Garcia is the daughter of Raul Garcia, a once famous Mexican boxer who was known for his stellar winning streak, including beating Balrog early in the American's career. But from then on, Raúl "Raio" Garcia's career was sinking, while Balrog's was taking off. To halt the decline in his performance, he started using doping, and was caught and expelled from the association. He hung up his gloves, married Maria Guadalupe Hernandez and had a daughter, Malena Hernandez Garcia. The boxing culture was very strong and the dishonor of the father, added to the fact that Malena was an awkward and pudgy girl, made her the victim of much bullying.
The father only drank and lived in the past, so the mother asked Sylvia, for help, who promptly accepted the girl as one of her students. Sylvia is an afro-american karate master who teaches in the US, but was in Mexico promoting her martial arts and philosophy at the time. She teaches the use of strength to build equality and prosperity for the needy and to use it only in self-defense. Until then Malena had no interest in anything, but she fell in love with Karate and made it her goal in life. She transformed herself, her large and ungainly body became athletic and powerful, her fat became muscle, and her disinterest became pure focus.
Dedicated, she was Sylvia's biggest recruiter. But then her father got a job in the criminal world. This tormented Malena, as she could not employ Sylvia's philosophy on her father and created a schism between the two of them, they were only at home to fight. And what's worse, her father's boss, a certain "El Gringo" treated him very badly, sending him to the most dangerous and humiliating tasks - and he never showed his face.
Then the unthinkable happened, his father became wanted by the police - murder. He swore to his wife and daughter that it wasn't him, that he was framed, but he had already lost the family's trust at this point. Malena devoted herself to training to forget him. Until Raúl, still a fugitive, Raúl shows up at her mother's house when Malena is there. He said that everything would work out, that he would finally meet the "patrón", that he would come to dinner, solve all his problems and even promote him.
The "patrón" arrives, it was Balrog - and all the misery in Raul's life was fomented by him, as revenge for having been defeated in his youth.
Raul, angry, challenged him, everything that Balrog wanted. He accepts and wins. He arrests him and sends his henchmen to slaughter his wife and daughter while he watches. Malena defended herself, and how she did! But there were too many of them and she didn't really have any fighting practice, so she ended up losing and being deadly beaten in front of her father, just like her mother. Then Balrog killed her father. Malena survived.
That turned a switch in Malena's mind. Sylvia was a fraud, the system doesn't work. Only if you fight you can do what is right, and she was supposed to kill "El Gringo".
Malena decided to follow her own path of violence without Sylvia, although she agrees with her ideals, she does not agree with her methods. She learned of one of Sylvia's students' death by the hands of "El Gringo" drug cartel, which, to her, only corroborates how wrong Sylvia is. Malena "Maligna" Gárcia, as she is now known on the circuit, is feared for being ruthless and merciless. Her punches and counter punches are feared. She is infamous for her "Hungry Ghost Punch (Golpe de fantasma hambriento)" and "Revenge's Flaming Fist (Puño de venganza en llamas)" and her intense hatred for the drug cartel and "El Gringo"
Her warpath of revenge led her to join forces with an covert operation to topple this drug cartel, she ended up finishing even Mrganka's tyrant, and beating Balrog to a pulp with her bare hands. But in the trail of revenge, Sylvia died when Balrog kidnapped her. She had a choice, lose the fight against Balrog and save Sylvia's life, or get her revenge and lose Syilvia. She chose revenge.
