It's funny how things work out. About six to seven months ago, I had this idea in my head to tell a story about a girl with an extreme fetish: Consensual Non-Consensual sex. If you're not familiar with that concept, it's basically a Rape/Free Use fantasy. Where a woman decides to reduce herself as nothing more than a sex toy for her partner, getting off to being roughed up and sexually assaulted as the male sees fit. Controversial, isn't it? Especially in today's PC/woke/post #MeToo culture. And that is exactly why I wanted to do this series. It all began as sort of a study of mine to try and understand the woman's thought process going into this, but after months of drafting and discarding two rounds of galleries and trying to draft some sort of script for this, I decided to focus on something else entirely. Namely, the Gravure Love series.

However, as I was working on stuff yesterday and interacting with @Morius over our collaborations together, an idea clicked. It was a moment in which I just loaded up the characters, the rooms and said "fuck it". Let's find out if this works. And so far, it does! Even better, things have never been clearer regarding this project! So there is going to be a bit of a shift in how I originally thought about Dani. While keeping the main premise intact (her being a CNC enthusiast and wanting to explore that part of her sexuality), there are some things that have to change completely in order for the actual plot to flow naturally. I'm not going to spoil anything since I still don't have a crystal clear idea of where the series might be going, but instead, I'm going to show you the evolution of Dani since her conception. I already made a blog about her here, but I had a whole different mindset and limitations back then. Now, I have a slightly better understanding of Hook5, and while my PC definitely isn't the most powerful, it allows me to work and continue to do my stuff without a hitch, all software issues considered.

First off, I had a scene with Dani meeting Max Huerta, the male protagonist, at an arcade. First picture was taken with my old potato and Hook4. The second was taken with Hook5. Notice how Dani had a completely different look to her back then and how the lighting really brought up a lot of things the original pic didn't have. However, that same amount of glow in a place like the Arcade just wasn't cutting it. It's quite obvious that tons of adjustments have to be made to that room's Level Definition.

I said it once and I'll say it again: XLashes was a mistake. At least for me. I understand its purpose, but it just doesn't look good.
Also, see the amount of glow on the H5 Arcade room. That room is awesome and it probably lends itself to some slight tweaking on my end
to make it work a little better to suit my needs. However, saturation might be another issue.

The next series of photos are part of the comic, and serve to explain Dani's thought process beyond giving us some spicy fanservice. In the first set, you can see her body in full detail. Dani used XBody as her foundation with a combination of Female7 and F7C sliders, with the first one taking priority. Nowadays, and thanks to the monumental work of @Driver, Dani is now equipped with the LATONA body mod (Which is fully compatible with XBody, so yaaaaay!) and in these example pics, Dani either had Human Female Head Younger, or pervok_7.5 (2020) younger. (maybe it was the same damn thing, what do I know?)

Also, the Head mod has been changed for her once again. More on that in a bit.

I love the F7C body. And I love LATONA even more. However, I understand that fabricating or modding clothes for a whole new type of body is a bit of a chore, and not everybody is willing to do it. If I knew how, I'd already be porting things like the High Waist Yoga Pants from @HDiddy or the Rocker and Cheerleader Outfits from @Cross or any and all outfits made by them, @Smoke and @Euphie. LATONA is indeed a revolution for this game, and I'm extremely happy to have been a tester since its inception. Now all we need is the big booba version and some tops to accommodate! But I went way off-topic here...

One of my favorite things about LATONA is how elongated and deep the belly button is. I like the F7C small BB, and as a BB fetishist,
I'd lick them both all day long. But the deeper navel along with the smoother curves of LATONA make it an obvious winner!

As admittedly thirsty I am for this set of pics, I need to talk about level_definition now. Hook4 had a certain charm to it that my old system just could never exploit. Not to mention the constant crashes and complete lack of shadows. With H5 there's at least more leeway to play with that. But it is necessary to create your own level_definition files for whatever room you plan on using for media purposes. The third picture is the closest to what I had in mind, but there is still a metric fuckton of work to do in regards to lighting and shadows.  @hexd33 is a lifesaver with his lighting tutorials, so if you're new to Hook5 and want to understand how those things work, give it a read. It's been nothing but helpful and inspirational for me.

I'm definitely going to be referring to that the more I work on comics and the more I understand how level_definition files work. Maybe in the future I'll optimize them and share depending on which rooms they are. Be mindful that I'm using a laptop with onboard graphics unrelated to AMD or GTX graphics cards or GPUs. I'm optimizing level_definition files to work to suit MY NEEDS. Not sure how long it would even take, but rest assured, I'd be happy to share those files with newcomers to H5 who are in my situation and cannot upgrade to more decent PCs.

And that leads us to the end. I'm extremely happy with the results I'm getting and the knowledge I'm gaining along the way. Some things are definitely a work in progress and there's plenty of room for improvement. These are the types of sights worth living for, if you ask me. Oh! And if you haven't, download the DAZ Face Head Mod, available on the lovely Kaya by @Codename-74 now! I'm using it on most of my models and they look miles above anything I've tried before! It will be the last Head Mod you'll ever need, since it maintains the uniqueness of each face and model, and while some tweaking is required, once you set it, it's done and never needs to be tinkered with, EVER!
