Since the game allows for transparent head- / eyewear in general, I don't see why not.

I assume it would be the most effective, if the oxygen pack and the helmet were one piece, as depicted here (without the harness, though).

Otherwise you'd need an extra top.

I see anything wrong with it being a multi piece setup.  Perhaps a modified backpack kind of thing?

Doable yes....pretty sure there is a Daz outfit that looks like this.

The outfit on Daz would probably be Head Gear, Gloves, CatSuit, Boots, Backpack (Clothes) Accessory, and Belt. So definitely multi addon outfit.  I swear we ha something similar already...maybe it was something else.

If you keep helmet and the tanks separate, you will not end up having a believable tube or similar connection between both. If that is important to you, that is. Unless you also add that kinda "ring" for the helmet to "attach to", to the backpack or top.

I don't know, if that can be pulled off, but in relation to head rotation and such, the helmet should stay static. Maybe by being a part of the backpack or the top? It should turn with the torso / shoulders, but not with the head.
