Better Cum Textures

Question

So cum in this game isnt great, and I know its largely due to the fact that it's a very old engine... but, I have seen some videos and screenshots of people with some really nice cum textures and was wondering if someone could explain how.

The cum in game is basically 2d textures. Some effects, like pee and many other, are particles.

 

Something like full fluid simulation in TK17 would be questionable or maybe even improbable, because of performance hit, even on modern systems. But its unknown if it would be possible if, lets say, TK17 has not anymore such memory limitations as it is now.

 

What you have seen are maybe even post-processing on some images using Photoshop or similar. Some assets are there that utilize H5 maps to achieve better look. 

 

There are few assets that utilize morphs sliders to morph full 3d mesh, that immitates cumshots or similar. These assets are implemented as toys, usually.

 

Overall, the best look would be achieved if TK17 would be capable to import fluid sims without too large performance hits. But thats a wishful thinking, lol.

Wasnt there a shoxx mod that drastically improved cum textures? I do remember seeing it on the old TK 17 forum.

You'll want to play around with the skin system's diffuse blend (IIRC) as the default was set to multiply, which can bring too much color of the skin into the texture. Also play around with the amount of shine/gloss/transparency (spec/diffuse respectively - normals don't usually need too much). I should probably write a review and mention that myself lol.

 

There are also textures which replace the textures added with the orgasm button... I can't find it posted right now. I think @HDiddy has it in his mega archive though.

With regards to Sykes' post:  there really isn't much reason to download the older version.  The newer version has more than double the number of textures and much better presets.

Yes, this is true.  The look of the texture depends on a lot of factors, lighting, skin tone, etc.  It will always require some adjustment depending on model, lighting, and personal preference.  I prefer the result I get with "multiply" diffuse blend mode as I find "normal" blend mode tends to look like glue or ranch dressing or something.  However, it is sometimes necessary to use "normal" mode.  It just depends on what the lighting is like and what the underlying skin tone is like. For example, on ebony skinned models it is necessary to use "normal" mode or it will just look like streaks of water.  If you do use normal mode it's also necessary to reduce layer visibility to roughly 40 or 50%. 

With regards to specular files it really comes down to how it looks on your particular model in the particular situation.  The presets I used for the screenshots look really good on my models with my lighting, but it might look entirely different with different lighting. Generally speaking the brighter the lighting the more red you want in your specular file because it will give an illusion of transparency.  However, under dim lighting you don't want red in your specular file because it will make it look either metallic or transparent.  Here's an example of using a yellow specular file, (yellow is max green and max red together) "normal" blend, and very bright lighting:

BUT, under dim lighting, this same setup would make the textures look like melted tin.  You have to figure out what works for the situation.

Gloss is a similar deal.  Generally I like a gloss of 3 (maximum) but sometimes it will make the texture too transparent and you'll want to reduce it.  Again, lighting is key.  The brighter the light, the higher gloss you can get away with.

I know it seems like a lot of variables at first, but once you play around with it for a bit it becomes more intuitive. I included a pretty lengthy description of how to use it in my upload, but I'm sure I left out some details.  If anyone has any questions let me know.

Fleshbishop's files for Hook5 give the best results!

They look so much better than what you can get with the in-built cum system of TK17.

They require some work to adjust, but they're kind of fun to use.

I really enjoyed playing with the texture variables to get a satisfying final result 😊
