Where can i find base earrings?

I need they for modding.

Maybe someone knows where i can find it.

The game has 2 sets of earrings as default assets - all the original game earrings and the zearrings that were originally released as addons.

The textures for all can be found in:  Archives\2.158.001\Images\Q=Tex032M\Shared\Cloth

The base game earrings all start with 'cloth_earrings...'

and the zearrings start with 'zearring...'

Any Activemod retextures will need to be renamed and you can find the correct corresponding labelling in this file:

You should have.  That is the default VX install setup.  Not sure how your game would be working without that folder  :classic_huh:

That is very odd.  This is what you should see in your Shared folder:

Are you using a Repack or anything that might have changed the core game structure?

I'm using original VX... maybe a clean install would help?

I would strongly suggest a clean re-install if you can - without those folders present you will be unable to edit textures.

Although if your game is working as you have it, they must be in the game directory somewhere.

Very strange.   I'm surprised your game is actually running !

Do you have any folders hidden from view in you OS settings?

I installed from a clean tk17v10.1.00_setup as portable, but i have not these folders under "archives"...

May you have some idea?

None at all.

And your game is still working okay?

If it is, make sure the default female T-Shirt is available in your Customiser menu and then do a file search of your game directory to see where the file 'cloth_caffe01_female_top01.png' is located.

If no such file is found in your game directory do a file search of your entire PC, because it will have to be in there somewhere.

The results of that might help shed some light on this matter.

PS. If you quote any of my comments or use the @aardy tag in your reply, I will be notified of your post.

That's still very odd.  Even as a working portable install you should still be able to find the content of the game on your PC as it obviously is present.

I will be interested to see what you get with a regular install.

Well, also after a regular installation i have same scenario.

BUT

i see a lot of zip folders, and one named "Images.zip".

Inside it a find what we're looking (see images attached).

Now i can proceed to find and mod something.

Great - you've got them    I can only think that some setting was previously hiding them from view

If you enable this setting in Options Manager, you can work with these items as folders rather than zip files.

ScreenCap_01.jpg

Much easier for editing.

And no worries about your English - I'm understanding just fine  👍

Good.  But I'm not sure what you're not seeing - is it the textures in  Archives\2.158.001\Images\Q=Tex032M\Shared\Cloth  or are they not appearing in your Customiser selection ? (they won't have the 'zearring' label in the popup name tag, top left corner of screen).

Either way, I've no idea why you would have just lost them.

And I've never looked at R9StockingToes001 - it could be that it's not Activemod enabled, quite a few 'additions' to the base game suffer from this.

I wouldn't even know where to look for it in the Customiser.

Maybe someone who uses R9StockingToes001 can offer some advice here.

UPDATE:  Found the stocking toes :classic_biggrin:   Out of curiosity I've just had a look at  R9StockingToes001.png and it works just fine for me as 'GenitalToeCap' Activemod textures.   But I can see why I've never used them.

Given the problems you've mentioned here, it sounds like you may have a bigger issue regarding your install.

Thanks again, @aardy, that textures ID list goes a long way.

Does the game store a file somewhere with a list of ID's for all objects that it handles? Like, not only for the base items, but also for the custom add-ons? I couldn't find one so far.

I don't think so, but I could be wrong.  The default assets with set ID's are recorded in various files throughout the game (the ID list just pulls all that info together in one handy file) - but I'm not aware of any files that store info from the Addons folder.   You might find something in the logs.

And if you're using any VX addons with Dynamic IDs, any ID info will change over time anyway.  You can view the current info on Dynamic IDs in the *_ids.lua files in the Save folder, but as I say, this will change as items are moved in and out of the Addons folder.
