Serena would never harm someone before knowing his true "evils". Well, in a combat, she could maim, but she would not kill if she didn't know if the person is evil or not. If she harmed a non-evil person, she would use her goddess greanted powers to heal them.
She even tried to redeem evil creatures. She failed, but at least she tried.
 

@SovietTiger"This is the right path".  Serena sense "evil", and she didn't find on her. Evenso, she knows neutral people can do stupid things.
 

She still have a long road to mature herself, but she's willing to, for the love she has for his boss, his goal and her "family" (the other agents and operatives of SSF).

She is! Interesting trivia: After the near-fatal accident she suffered, Boucher trained like crazy to the point that she is now able to leg press 500kg! Enough to flip a compact car with her legs! Still, Serena, in her righteous fury, handled her as if she were a kitten.
