You will need a key for both your PC AND your Laptop, as the key is hardcoded to only work for the makeup of the computer you use the key on. I'm not sure how something like this is achieved and someone else will probably know the answer to that, but back on MG I've seen reports of people needing new keys when they get a new PC or even change something about it I.E. the graphics card. So....there's that.... It'd only be 1$ extra anyway. 😄
