    Launching issue after update (lua:3528)

    I’m having a strange issue with updating a new install. I had some kind of corruption problem on my last install so I decided to start fresh but for some reason I can’t get the game to launch at all after I update the new install to version 1.00p.

    When I try to launch after updating I keep getting the following error message:

    “Error running lua_openstream: .\openstream_add.lua:3528: attempt to index local ‘path’ (a nil value)”

    I’ve tried portable and express installs, and in both cases the game will launch fine before I update but as soon as I extract the 1.00p folders it breaks. I had updated my previous install to 1.00p and I’m using exactly the same copy of 1.00p so I can’t imagine what’s going on. Does anyone have any clue as to what the problem is?

     

    EDIT: When I posted this I wasjust using the updates from the original pack I downloaded where 1.00p what the latest, I downloaded version r from here and got the same result. Thought it might be helpful to include where the errors show up in the log:
