I checked Toy042 laptop and it works fine.
- Ensure addons are placed in Addons folder.
- Addons can be zipped or plain folders (if zipped, ensure Options Manager (Binaries\TK17_OptionsMan.exe) you have "Enable zip addons" in Addons tab checked.
- Best to restart the game when adding addons. Can be done with game running, but requires "Austomatic re-scan addon folders" checked in Options Manager, then you have to flip through a few menus and do some disk access to allow the system to catch up and recognise them.
- Addon toys always appear at the bottom of the list when you attach them.
I came up with this for you as they're not AM enabled. Make a file in your nim addon called:
Custom.NimAddOn.098.BDSMItems\Scripts\Shared\Nim604addon.ActiveMod.bs
It contains this plain text:
"Shared/Cloth/cloth_nimharness01" , "NimHarness001" , "Dress36015_Description|Dress36016_Description" ,
"Shared/Cloth/cloth_cuffs" , "NimCuffs001" , "Dress36009_Description|Dress36010_Description|Dress36011_Description|Dress36012_Description|Dress36013_Description|Dress36014_Description" ,
Copy and paste the text above into the file. The ActiveMod texture filenames are in this colour (.png/.jp2).
The futa strapon uses the internal texture name "shemale_white_genital". The futa "strapon", no balls or panty, by default hasn't been allocated an AM texture and can therefore only use its internal shemale one, which is why in my Strapons & Futanari addons the futa no-balls has been redirected to use ActiveMod texture "F_Futanari001" (.png/.jp2). All texture and filenames are case sensitive however.
I can't get invisible female in Sequencer either. IIRC it was always a problem. Not sure if this is the same for male as I use an ancient saved invisible dress for male when the invisible functions were in the body tab. I might try a few things.. [rummage]..
EDIT: Seems some of the dress zones might be wrong for invisible female. Probably my next project coming up..
EDIT 2: Found a temporary solution on my setup with VX 1.00p (and maybe earlier versions). I'll make it available as a D/L here.
You had a big problem here with your quotes:
addon_dir = "{"D:/MyGames2/Addons/dp16Mods",
"D:/MyGames2/Addons/dp16Addons",
"D:/MyGames2/Addons/Addons",
"D:/MyGames2/Addons2"}"
Note the yellow text, what's going on there?
Changed it to this:
addon_dir = { "Addons", "Addons/dp16Mods", "Addons/dp16Addons", "Addons/Addons", "Addons/Addons2" }
Your "home" folder for the game is D:/MyGames2 so you don't need that reference. I'm just wondering if your Addons folder looks like this (folder-wise):
Addons
Addons
Addons2
dp16Addons
dp16Mods
. . .
. . . (other files)
Seems a bit convoluted. If you have an "Addons/Addons" folder, you'd best move the contents to just "Addons" and delete the other, then redo the above line to read:
addon_dir = { "Addons", "Addons/dp16Mods", "Addons/dp16Addons", "Addons2" }
Copy and paste the text below over the top of your TK17_Config.txt and save if all correct:
Not sure what exactly you're trying to unpack when you're getting "missing a x.xx.xxx folder" etc. You shouldn't be unpacking anything to Archives. Here's some docs from @OysterMug I helped work on. They should steer you right. Let me know if you have any more probs..

I've always installed it as "portable", which can avoid the problems you describe above. In other cases it doesn't, even if you have multiple versions of this game all installed as portable. Reason being that the way the game looks for its base folder (TheKlub17 or whatever) had changed to correct some issues, but appears in some cases to be causing others.
When installed as portable, start it by using the Launcher.exe in Binaries folder, otherwise use Play The Klub 17.exe in main folder. Occasionally when you quit the game, it'll also give an error (error executing) meaning it crashed while trying to quit. You can safely ignore that.
When you "share" a sequence from the Sequencer, the game collects all pose files used in the sequence as well as the sequence itself, outfits and possibly used toys and bundles it all together into a .tgc file. Although it says "upload", you'll be creating a file. If you change ".tgc" to ".zip", you can see all that's bundled in there.
