You sure are making some amazing images in that room! So much fun to play with the reflections and light!

Oh yeah! And there's plenty of spots and angles, you get to struggle to decide which one to use 😄

Fun fact about this specific image - I haven't used any directional lights except for 1 omni without shadows, everything else is HDR curves, AO, SSLR and autocubemap - the power of good and rich environment!

Daaamn, would it be possible to get a hold of these rooms/env_maps or whatever black magic fuckery you use to make this happen?

This room is based on this - https://www.klubexile.com/files/file/1836-room248-h5-mirror-magic/?do=getNewComment
And stuff like floor, and mirror is directly from that one, everything else is  just darkness (room off, no skybox), fog and some glowing lamps from hook objects

This "scene" is really in a bad shape, I dont think its worth sharing in its current look, even the floor and mirror texture needs an update, as it was literally done carelessly, just for an experiment

Thanks @Kraegar- I had the dof set to 2 and played around with it at 3, but too blurry. So I tried to use the rain to help achieve this. I'll keep at it though! Thanks for your feedback. I always want to grow and improve in this.

There's that bottom parameter on dof chart that defines power of blur, you can tweak it so dof 1 will be blurred as hell or that dof 8 will be just as dof 2. Bokeh related parameters also work but you need to play with them with some serious numbers. 25.0 for one of the values and 1.0 for the other will be quite noticeable. Reshade's "cinematic dof" is the best though, imo, with a fancy bokeh that will not ignore the skybox. I believe cyberpunkish bright environments would look lovely with it.

Nothing but a hint, not everyone likes DOF, so do it as you like it! 🙂

  4. How just a little glow turned the common umbrella into the futuristic stylish one, nice detail and generally nice pic!

I think you should try adding some depth of field, not necessarily using a heavy blur, just a tiny bit if you wish the background to be visible but just enough to shift the focus on the characters

That is lonnnnnnng lost and to be frank till date i still have the basic hook5 files from tk4r. I never saw what was in the basic h5 package. Is it available on this site?

I dont know, been culling unneeded rooms from my pc and found it. I guess you can check on Pervoks's page, basic stuff used to be open for all, if I remember right

hi @Kraegar great idea to fit a hairband in between! when i was making the hair, i was a little surprised with the height and width of the loose hair, but decided to leave it as it was... maybe i'll create an edit later on with the loose hair a bit tighter on the head..

anyway it's a great example how hairworks can work together with other addons 😉

In your gallery, on your model it looks quite tight 🙂 Sits very nice, really!
For my model I have to always increase width and height by a tiny bit, fot it to fit well, like 1.05 or even 1.1 It was like that from the very first hairworks but its totally ok, thats what those settings are for.

By messing with settings some space appeared, seemed perfect for headband  🙂
Another thing to check - try and make a root of your ponytail hairstyle stiff, and use some other accessorie as a grip/holder 😉  (maybe even try that on bun hairstyle)
But fitting some hairworks under the hacker's headwear cap would be the best 😄

Not bad, though gloss is barely visible, it may be that this environment is dark (i had more than usual trouble when lighting challenger here 🙂 ), but there are always artificial ways to increase it via cubemaps tweaks, if nothing else helps.

I'd like to see you try it under open sky, that should look better.

Hope not "Excella Gionne" by the dress 🤭 Glad you like her, she still being special and part of the curious group of dark haired girls with blue eyes, I don't work that trait quite a lot 🙃

Reminds me of some real life woman, celebrity possibly, but still can't remember who 🙂

It is very nice to see you back!

Nice picture.  I see that you also have the same problem with @HDiddy's Xlashes!   Have you thought about a solution to that flickering problem (lashes act like moving hair)?

🙂 Not truly back, will hop in and out occasionally.

About the lashes, well without some kind of anti-aliasing it's hard to come up with the solution, the mesh is too thin for 1080p, not enough pixels to render it, unless face is close to a camera it will be flickering, hook does have a general MSAA x2 x4 x8 parameter, but it affects everything in screenspace and causes heavy fps loss on older pcs but possibly can help with it, also using hi-res shots or using superresolution (even heavier than msaa) does improve it a little. Unlikely but maybe reshade has some filters to help with aliasing...
( you can find the general MSAA setting in "main.fx", game must be closed before toggling on and off )

Anyways, I tend to use both 3d and 2d lashes, but like 3D ones more, despite this issue.
