It seems you want to add a Armature and the like to the character you exported.  Which should be possible. I have never done it. What exactly are you trying to achieve?  What's your end game?

Yeah something to give it IK capabilities, I've downloaded some rig plugins in blender but also tried to do a very simple rig myself. But the rig still fails even with one limb, I'm getting errors regarding improper weighting.

I'm trying to rig an exported model from TK17 in blender, for animation and maybe posing. I can do the texture and model work later.

  2. I'm not that familiar with blender either but was following a tutorial on how to rig characters, problem is the model I exported from TK17 kept on throwing errors. I used the method of Hook export and then isolating just the actor mesh in blender, then combining the mesh. Though as I said, I'm still sort of new to blender. So is there a way to rig a character from TK into blender?

    Thanks for any help.

  3. Cumshots through either the dildo or by any actor produces this weird silver, paint like texture. Though I do see some decals correctly, the majority of them are not coming out right. I tried replacing the textures with the files found here and the possible fixes.

Tried renaming the Customstatic in the pass file to Customstatic2. None of that has worked so far.

    See attachments for further detail.

If anyone could help me out I'd very much appreciate it, thanks!

  4. The video tutorial that was posted here doesn't seem to work anymore. I was wondering if there are still people who know how to do this.

Any help would be much appreciated, thank you!

PS: Does anyone have experience rigging an exported character from TK17 into blender? I extracted a scene using Hooks extract feature but can't seem to rig the character. Something to do with vertices and bones causing "overheat".

I don't understand, so it is the the first key frame in which you cannot edit/ the picture from? Also, it should say "Handcuffs & DressMorphs". So something is off. Did you re-install or something? If not, what was the last thing you installed/changed?

It occured after I updated Xbody I think, from 1.9.3.1 to 1.9.6

I do have a  lot of morphable clothes that appear in the customizer window, but not sure if that should affect Pose Editor. And no I can't edit the slider on any key frame.

    No reinstalls.

  6. Ok so I did the whole F1 thing to minimize window with 1080p res and it didn't let me go back in game, tried it with 1440p and it did. There's some serious issues with a lower resolution than your native.

I was midway through typing this and the game just closed my Firefox. I really have no idea what's happening to this game.

  7. I used to have the problem of certain rooms not loading and deduced that it was the number of hook items (objects/lights) in the level. I made edits to the level def to enable those items in the [includes] section, but am now getting weird freezes on loading a room that crashes my entire PC. Almost like it's a blue screen but can be recovered if I just fake a manual PC restart through the power button. I feel like no app should really do this to your PC and want to know why this occurs at all. It only really happens when loading a room. Maybe it's the number of addons I now have, as the game was incredibly fast when I first downloaded it but has almost slowed to 7.5 speeds.

    Thanks for any advice!

  8. I've got additional incentive to improve because I'm trying to gain traction outside here. People are really obsessed with graphical fidelity and anything short of high res blender/DAZ content just wont cut it most times. I work with TK because of the ease and speed, if I transitioned to Blender then whatever I produce would take 5x longer. I'm also responsible for a very large quest mod for Skyrim before this, complete 180 tonal shift to what I'm doing now (was a very depressing, bleak mod). I may have to improve further still if I actually hope to earn serious money though, living in London sets my income target way higher than it should be 😮‍💨.

  9. I'd love to see more faithful recreations of popular video game / cartoon characters. Don't get enough of those. It's very hard to do in this engine I know, most of the time you have to create your own interpretation. Though that Honoka model uploaded here is very accurate, I guess it comes down to unique head/body mods rather than relying on sliders.

  10. After working with a room and only loading in a couple of Hook5 objects, the room will - mostly - refuse to load. I say mostly because only under very specific circumstances like playing in full screen and never alt tabbing can the room load. I've narrowed it down to the hook5 objects because it is fixed when I revert the level definition file or just remove the objects from the .txt file itself.

This never really happened before, not sure what's causing it now. Surely some objects aren't causing an overload in memory already?

I guess my question is what to you expect to gain from Daz?

There are a lot of limits I'm working with in TK. And weird issues that I can't remedy when making movies/ animations like jagged edges on the bodies and clothes clipping. I'm also afraid of messing up my install when I have to change body mods or whatever. DAZ just offers a lot more tools but is a bit more tedious to work with. I was drawn to TK because of the ease of using pose editor and creating animations. As well as having assets ready to use.

Also the potential thing I mentioned, I just don't want to be stuck here while I could be taking advantage of the latest in visual software.
