    Syke's post in Stocking Issue was marked as the answer   
    H5$'s skin system doesn't behave well AFAIK with any items that are 'pasted' onto the skin rather than as their own model, including hose, stockings, and I few others I can't recall right now.
    Mostly, you have use the skin system to add stockings as a skin option. It's a pain but that's the trade-off for the  improved graphics 😛

    Someone is free to correct me or refine this though lol
