  1. When editing poses, how do you change the location of a pose individually for each individual location in a room such as Sofa, floor, bed, etc?

    Also, how do you recenter a pose's center position? Its hard to explain what I asking. You know when you can click the custom location button in the upper right corner and it gives you the abilitity to click a location in a room to put the actors in their current pose? When I do this for some poses there are a few that aren't placed directly where I click. For example, I click the ground and the actors show up 20 feet away, halfway submerged in the floor.

  2. While editing many poses from 7.5 to work with VX I've noticed some sliders in VX don't give as much yield as they did in 7.5, especially the lips and thumbs. I recall a combination of hot keys would change the sliders into something numerical and hoping its a way to go past what the sliders provide. So, is there a way to go past the slider's limitations without an addon or the use of X body?

  3. Did anyone ever take the time to retexture ALL the hairs (I think its 400+ of them) included with VX to work with hook5 and release them all in one package? Just checking incase I overlooked it somewhere. There are a lot of good hairs that I would like to use.

    Its not this simple. You just don't download hook5 and magically have it look amazing. You have to download other shit like body mods, skin textures, eye & iris textures, hairs and clothes that work with hook5, rooms with level definitions, etc. Bunch of stuff I don't know why is not included with the program. You also have to know how to work the hook's graphical interface as well which too can be a daunting task.

  5. For some rooms with certain hook definitions I either get some sort of pixelated effect at certain angles of the skin during movement shown on the left side of the picture provided. Its effect is much worse than the screenshot shows. The other issue seems to be what looks like stripes of shadows along the skin, which goes away if I turn off shadows completely. What exactly are causing these effects and how do I fix them?

  6. I have ran into maybe 3 rooms listed here that have level definitions that make the visuals look fantastic. Can anyone recommend anymore rooms that make the models look good? Or share what settings exactly are being used to provide better visuals? No super dark rooms, please. I like to see what is going on.

  7. That's weird how the TK17_Launcher works differently form the TK17-158.001.exe. Opening the program works how it should this way. TK17_launcher was not even working until after I deleted the "default" installation so beforehand I just assumed it was a leftover obsolete program. Thanks for the quick help.

    install portable, it fixes the registry for itself every time it loads (u need to start from launcher), regular install makes a permanent registry entry and loads that version only.

    So if I have a "default" version installed somewhere I have to uninstall it in order for the portable folders to work with their own files? 

  9. I tend to use hooks that are not 5 and 5 uses different bump textures as the others. Because of the differences in files I would like to install a Hook5 version of Tk17 but each time I install a new TK17 somewhere else on my hard drive, even renaming the folder, it still opens the first TK17 I installed months ago and using it's files instead of the new ones I created for the Hook5 TK17 and I have no idea how that even works or why it does it. The game will load using hook5 but everything else such as models and addons are from the old install.

    Any way to separate my TK17 with older hook files from the newly created one with hook5?

  10. Sometimes I run into an issue of things moving in a direction that they should not be. For example; a leg that is not connected to anything nor hip movement that could also cause the leg to move is in place in the first frame and the next  key frame has the leg moving upward. When I press play, instead of the leg going straight up, it dips down, as if there is an invisible key frame there, before going up. What is causing this to happen? I did some animation in flash years ago and never ran into this issue so my only assumption that there is a key frame later in the timeline that is somehow manipulating movement earlier in the timeline somehow.

  11. Trying to fix some animated poses but as soon as I make a change in the "Penetration Loop" and click on the timeline, the change I made reverts back as if I never did anything at all. What is causing this and why does it only happen with some manipulators and some animated poses? Yes, Automatic keying and Key Editing buttons are set as they should be.

  12. Is there a way to center or set to default the manipulation things? For example, I rotate an actor to the right, is there a way to reset it to default position besides using the undo button?

    Is there a way to cut a specific segment of a timeline for a pose and use it for another new pose? Or at the very least, delete the beginning of a timeline entirely without the need of cutting and pasting individual key points later down the timeline?

    Any way to remove an actor form a pose that was originally meant for 3?
