I will document my reinstall of Klub 17 VX on my desktop PC. This is an old i5-2500K (4 core - 4 thread CPU) based system running at 4.2GHz with 24GB of RAM and a newer NVIDIA 1060 with 3 GB VRAM video card.

I started out running the executable file tk17v10.1.00_setup.exe to install the game. The game's default install location is C:\TheKlub17. Due to lack of space on my system drive, I have changed this to D:\TheKlub17 for my install.

Once the game installation is completed, I applied the Klub Exile 1.01P update. This file - TK17VXF_Update1.01P_KE1.7z was opened with 7-zip compression application and the 7 folders were dragged to D:\TheKlub17. All duplicate files were replaced by the newer files in the 7-zip archive.

I ran the game for the 1st time by opening the D:\TheKlub17\Binaries directory and executing the TK17_Launcher.exe file. My computer seemed unresponsive for a minute or so of inactivity, but the game start window did finally appear.

I selected Options, Renderer Type as DirectX.  I set the Resolution Options to 1920 x 1080. I am running my monitor at 2560 x 1440. I did change change any of the other default settings. Save this. I selected Free game and clicked on the Start button. After about 20 seconds, the game menu appeared with "Version X Klub Exile Edition 1.01p" displayed in the lower right hand corner of the window.

It didn't take long to customize two of the stock models and have some fun on the beach. So far everything works as it should.
