Found out were the string of hair is going.

did a test with applying hair on the entire body - works.

seems like only the hair on the head is following the pose in a way - makes sense doens't it.

probably there need to be some specific bones and/or vertex groups in the max file, but not all of them. would like to use them for collisions later on...

step 1 was getting something to show up in the game! that works now

step 2 will be figuring out the scaling and orientation. would be nice if the hair was actually on the head..

then i'll have to see what bones are needed and which are not, guess that info can be found in existing apx files.

will have to check some different versions of apx bases, I've always been using the same base apx to build on to with blender, that one had these bones
