Riotous Aftermath

After the death of the esteemed professor, students took to the streets, exacerbating the already turbulent protests occurring in the streets of Lyon in '78 against French nuclear testing. Despite the unrest, French Intelligence persisted in their belief that a Soviet spy was instigating these riots. Consequently, agents were dispatched to apprehend the riot leaders and interrogate them until the spy was exposed. Boucher was assigned to this mission as well. Despite the capture and questioning of numerous students, the suspected Soviet spy remained elusive, if indeed one existed at all.
