Yeah, unfortunately, she had to do it. She discovered they were really spies, and the orders were to kill them, not investigate them. So, she was already disobeying by making sure they were criminals. But even then, she struggled with the idea, finding it better to simply send them for arrest and trial.

But French Intelligence has done worse for less.
