    Hi, you could try to make a new room out of it by using CollaTKane. I don't know exactly what is happening, but my guess would be that the room that VX loads is the original room from the archives' folder. The game files are protected, or so I heard.

    Hi, here you can find a basic modding tutorial:
    The .[bs b] or .bs files can both be loaded via the io_tk17 plugin into Blender. CollaTKane is used to convert a Collada file (.dae) into a VX compatible addon.

    Hi, do you have the png files as well. The ActiveMod folder with your skin has to contain the Male_White_Body.png, Male_White_Feet.png, Male_White_Hand.png, Male_White_Head.png and Male_White_Genital.png. Then you have to have the according _pass.txt files, so for Male_White_Feet.png the Male_White_Feet_pass.txt. And finally the dds files that have to be defined in the _pass.txt files, like so
    Male_White_Body_pass.txt :
    [pass]
    name = CustomSkin
    stage2 = [S] Body Norm Spec\Male TK4CH Repack V2\malebody_norm.dds
    stage3 = [S] Body Norm Spec\Specularity 2 Male\malebody_spec.dds
    stage4 = [S] Body Norm Spec\Subsurface 1 Female Shemale Fair Skin\fembody_sub.dds
    above example for one of the skins in my folder.

    I can confirm that this has to do with old hook5 objects. Happened to me too.
  6. Titanoboa Serpentes's post in Problem with loading Models was marked as the answer
    Hi, when creating a face preset I always save them a lot and especially when I have finished a face. The sudden change in appearance happens to me every time I use some sliders like the eye slider and the mouse in the 3D view to sculpt the face. If you sculpt the face with the mouse first and then use the sliders the face gets reverted to a shape that, I think, is predefined by the game engine. So you can change the face to your liking but you have to find out which sliders change the face back to the original state. I don't know what's causing this (difference between mouse sculpt vs slider range) but this is a behaviour that even 7.5 had. Another thing that comes to mind is that you have to use the exact head mod that you used before in the customizer. Your hardware isn't responsible for any change to your models. It's the version of VX that you're using and that you have been using before. I would recommend loading a model into the customizer room and if it looks right immediately save the face as a preset. I learned that the hard way when I was loading models that had been lying around in my VX save folder that I created with an older version of VX. I think there have been some changes that cause the models face to not load the preset created with an older version of VX.
    Concerning the windows 10 security problem. I always load VX with administrator privileges and make sure to keep the VX installation in a folder outside ProgramFiles and ProgamFiles (x86) or any other windows managed folder. You can also add exceptions to the windows security dashboard.
  7. Titanoboa Serpentes's post in Bumb textures on VX was marked as the answer
    Hi, bump textures for hook4 aren't compatible with hook5 normal maps. You have to use normal maps to have detail on objects and skins when using hook5. I would recommend downloading textures especially made for hook5 or you could use the diffuse map (the color texture) and one of the normal map generators like NormalmapGenerator or materialize to create normal maps from diffuse maps.
