Sorry I had to edit your question. We do not and will not promote their little club here. Reason is simple: They will delete any comment about KE and will tell the person to shut up, we moved past such petty arguments that we decided to just move forward and that we don't want any connections with them.
With that said, for those that are sick and tired of hearing the same shit from us, well turn around and click on another thread question -
But to answer your question, its simple: They do not like KE. They do not like some of the admins at KE because they are constantly spreading a fake narrative. As for another Modsgarden - what we know is that they at least "tried". But what we the KE admin think about another MG, well - no. MG started dying in 2019 and they had a plan to create a replacement out for 2020. Its 2021 right now and 2022 is closing in - and there is no information about MG2.
To make a long story short - they could not address Patreon properly. They would throw their content creators under the bus. They would "steal" the work of other modders. Their constant double standards. We exposed that and they did not like it. We brought back content creators that they chased away. We created a better environment for users to be in, a place in which they would not be humiliated by a hierarchy. In a way - you can call it that they are jealousy that a bunch of people that they thought they buried achieved a lot in such little time.
We have documented this 'beef' to show them that we are not afraid of them and willing to share information with the community. There is a ton of information out there, I suggest that you look into it (assuming that you want to). https://www.klubexile.com/topic/425-news-about-ke-mg2/?tab=comments#comment-7290
Dick is too close to the face. It’s a hit or miss - this game tends to give a lot of misses. In this case, like I said - dick is too close. Give more distances.

Also, earning such points was moved onto other features. So consider reviewing, reacting and just being "social".

I understand that people may want to share 7.5 and for the most part we explained ourselves on why we taken that route.
But we will always welcome said content if its fully converted to VX and tested to work. If someone will only post that, "not tested for VX so I dont know if it works" is not good in my book. When I moved to VX and when MG was up, I made 2 versions - 1 VX and 1 7.5 and I tested them that they worked. I did mention that but also mentioned that I would not do technical support. So if you installed basic VX and tested sequences and PE and poses was working, it should be fine.
Either way, poses and sequences from my knowledge should work. t-x-x are the ones that creates issues. I don't recommend orca mod because many versions were created - plus 99% of the orca mod is already built in VX. And t-x-x mods that are bodies, repacks, orca, etc tends to hide scripts that can create issues without the user knowing.
Hmmm, looked through our end and there is nothing on our end that can be restrictive/hampering your upload. Could be some kind of client side issue you may be having. I'll report back again if I do find a issue.
I'd would also like to comment, if anyone reads these issues. If there are issues, that has a "limited" upload, looks restrictive where it looks like it shouldn't be, etc. Please report it. Either ask it the site question section or use the support function and report a site issue and to not sit on it 🙂
The answer was deleted, so here is what that person said:
The 4GB patch is now included with the program. All you have to do is select it in Options Manager (a separate app in your tk17 folder).
To add: Toys are heavy memory users. Create a system in which you will X certain amount and for you to better shuffle them into the game when needed.
I would not consider this exclusive as its a compilation of old poses and many of pose have been "reposted" and/or has been transferred back to the original creator. Even though you said, you are readjusting them to different rooms, it can still be a repost.
Also a exclusive would be that of original work. For example: You created a pose/animation from scratch.
That said, you are free to upload it.
Guess this is what you wanted to know about blender and what not.
Well go in the ACRoom.bs file and remove/delete the shower code. All/any of th App codes that says shower.
Not that many people know this so I figure I say this.
In your VX folder (where your game is located) open the Config folder -
Open the text document called TK17_KeyShortcuts
All the hotkeys are documented there
You are able to do more with the paid version.
- Easier to create lvl def.
- improvement on the usage of Norms and spec files
- h5m object usage
- Lua usage (Moving lights, and objects, etc)
- Hassle free in terms of usages and better quality of life
Personally, you have set a limit for yourself. But, from what I gathered - for clothes I never cross 100K I've seen stuff hoover around 80K-ish. The highest I've gone is low 80K.
As for your boots problems. You can try un-subdivide, or decimate them. Me, I would un-subdivide them and select the parts that are of high tris as it is more "cleaner" as it leave the vertices and shape in better form than a full on decimate. For example, your boot may have high poly buttons/laces. You can easily cut that in half. But I think if its a pair of boots, depending of the design but it has a unique shape and a bunch of stuff on it, 60K is the highest I would want them to be.
And if you are importing daz stuff, I would recommend .dae file as it near the identical vertices to that of daz. By that, the you can import .obj stuff but people are creating a high poly version and not adjusting their export function correctly. For example: a dress, its 10K. But if you are exporting it wrong, you will export a HQ mesh that is most 3-4 times higher.
PE morphs will only appear and work in Pose Edit mode. What you showed are the default/static morphs by selecting them option function and sliders in the customization tab will only work if made to work there. Also note that default/static morphs most likely do not have morphs unless the author of the mod/addon specify that he/she made PE morphs for them.
Its defined differently and or how you use it.
But I think there is a middle ground that affects all users the same way. So keep this in mind:
To answer your question, No
You will see performance issues once you start using H5M objects in game (Ex: place a bed, sofa, walls, etc). There are no performance issues if you place the objects in you activemod folder
As mentioned, there is a "performance" issue with the amount of poses. Though IMO the severity is minimum
Toy Addons are the biggest "danger" to performance. Its best that people create a system in which they can cycle 'X' amount of toys and/or create groups to cycle them in and out
Why Toys? Because unlike clothing addons, Toys (just like room addons) - has to load when you first create a new scene. And the more textures you load, the more "pressure" you place on your computer to load all those textures
For example: Cars/vehicles. I prefer to use cars that are no bigger than 10MB. Why? Because most textures are 'baked/merge' into 1, thus textures count low. Also, they are optimized better
Either way, For toys, I still group them and created a system to cycle them. Having a lot of toy will make your game crash when creating a new scene or when with select 2+more models on screen
You can post it here for reference.
As for the issue. Again, you have no idea how many times I tell people to use CTK and they don't follow my advice only to rage at end for not following it sooner.
Don't use io_tkm2.79, it creates issues out of nothing. Lucky, here in KE documentation are not spread and buried and easy to find. I used this in MG to start modding and recommended others to use it, its easy to follow and straight forward.
Honestly, numerous things can be affecting this.
-Applying basic make up breaks the skins. Best to adjust it when its broken and then reload textures.
- The auto reloading textures can be causing this. Disable it in your mainFX file.
- Also, make sure you have the face hack active. (Open up your option manager - found in the GFX/UI tab)
Nothing can be done IMO. I get this too And I can say my set is great and should handle. You can try applying the 4gig patch. But its only temp. You should apply it everything you load the game.
You may also try slimming your game. I discovered that toys are often biggest culprits as when you are loading a scene, all toys are actually getting loaded. Some toys have been made that are over 20MB. I know, not a lot - but you didn't realize that its compressed so in fact it can be 50-100MB. And that is A LOT!
Try organizing a folder(s) in which you can alternate toys. For example, Use 3-4 cars instead of 50 of them.
They were removed. We only support VX, not 7.5.
Aardy provided a link to provide more context
And such warning is placed where everybody can see it in the main page. Its even briefly mention and colored in red
The free Hook5 version is found here: https://www.patreon.com/posts/update-for-hook5-8704104
(Note that MG is dead so ignore that. But you neccersary files are there)
As for what is the difference between the paid and free - well the paid version unlocks the ability to use hairwork, easy interface face, such as creating lighting and adjusting you Hook5 settings. Reality the 1 dollar grants you this ability. The higher tiers, you can more content in the form of hairwork, models, etc.
You can cancel after the first month. But you will not get any updates for Hook5. And if you update hardware like a mobo or HDD, you will have to purchase the 1 dollar tier again so you can get a new key.
I don't want to fully agree. - This game can be seen as niche (entry level) towards other games or software like DAZ or VaM. IMO the game has been kept in the shadow in MG - either to remain out of the cross hair of a company or for other reasons and because of that, game reason did not spread as some people thought it would.
Personally, the game has been going in downward spiral when we were in MG. Modder weren't producing content to keep it interesting. Modders and users moved to other projects or games like VaM and there was hostility towards the few remain modders. Games like this and VaM are rare, and seeing all the upgrades that VX brought, it would be a shame if people didn't try to use.
Is VaM good? Yes. But so is this. Despite it flaws, you can't get skyrim or fallout mods to look, act or create stuff that you can create in VX. I still think this game can hold up for another couple of years. Perhaps I'm naive but I'm not throwing or not trying to create further drama with the coders as I already have enough of that, but due to poor leadership in MG, the game never grew and it went down hill since. This is fresh start with the few remaining modder backing up the page. The Team is welcome but they view our actions as hostile. In either case, we are put in a position in which we can grow and a fresh start.
I should add, that a main selling point of VX was to get us out of the cross hair of said company which is the reason why we are focusing on VX only and not allowing the format of 7.5.
We'll look if feature can be combined But personally I think the current layout is fine. People can read reviews and determine of the quality of the upload and the comment section can serve for the creator and users to exchange help and/or troubleshoot any issues that the content may have.
(Example below: Pepeja room: the textures and Hook5 got corrupted)
