It feels like forever since I last made an entry here on the blog. Between work, trying to put out comics and come up with ideas and my game crashing and burning every time I try to put out content, it honestly feels like a chore to think about all these things. In any case, here's a few happenings with my latest TK17 experience as of recently.

1. My game has been crashing on the PoseEdit section the second I try to load a pose. The issue generates from a texture not being able to be loaded in-game (which is bullshit since everything has been loading right in the past for the most part) and now I have to go and troubleshoot everything, make backups, delete unnecessary files and the like to get my game back to a "playable" state. Not to mention, getting rid of Hook4 as well. I have spent more time trying to get back from crashes than anything else. I could deal with crashes before since they weren't too frequent, but now things are getting ridiculous to a point in which I don't even want to touch the game. But in what I have managed to do, is experiment a bit more with character creation. So, here's a few samples of outfits and mods I've been adding to my girls.

Here are a few stills of my girls in what could have been my Halloween comic. Sadly, that won't be released on time due to the previously described issues. I have to say I'm really digging how they look with XBody and their respective Head mods,. The eye iris on the h5x_mr skin is super clear and very friendly when it comes to recoloring. Also new to this is the dimisd Outfit Pack which gives me God knows how many options. The problem now is to track everything and take all my repeated addons out of the folder to further optimize future runs of the game. I am definitely not enjoying that part.

Another thing I've been trying are 2x skins, FINALLY. Lincyn (shown above) has a 2x skin baked by none other than homie @Morius himself, making her look so good. I was warned that I could probably keep 2x skins in my game, but since my computer doesn't have enough power being ancient and all, I should stick with 1x, non-Hook assets for my game, which really sucks. But I have been very unorganized in my files, so these tedious steps need to be taken in order to finally have things working the way they did before all this crap went down.

In another subject, I just found out that there's a new update of XBody that includes @Driver's new NBP body that I love so freaking much. Well, there are obviously issues with the clothing, in particular in the torso and hip areas. I feel like some clothes for it are necessary, but in the meantime here's the areas I've encountered problems with so far:

1. The hip/thigh area. This body type cannot wear any currently existing panties. Even those with morphs won't fit 100% and there is bound to be clipping in the hipbone and womb area for the most part. Same thing with pants and skirts, with the legs clipping over jeans and the like. However, arms and neck are apparently unaffected and the only other "problematic" area is the torso, both front and back.

I found through my fiddling that loose clothes are a good fit for the NBP body. The problem is, there aren't many of those in-game and they all have parts where they stick to a specific body part. I haven't been able to screenshot this, but I've been able to outfit Negi-chan wth the KE Basics crop top and some overalls from dimisd's Outfit Pack. In that outfit, the clipping is still present in a couple of spots, but nowhere near as to what has been displayed. For all other clothes, I had to remove the NBP body on the model with XBody Default since I'm including her in the Halloween comic, but then again... God knows when, or IF it's going to come out...

That's all on my end for today. The Photoshop tutorial is currently on hold for the time being as well. I have the material to work, but I honestly haven't had the motivation to continue with it. Hopefully I'll get around it once I sort all the stuff that I need to. Thanks for reading!
