The world of the videogame "Dawn Of Alfheim" is ripe with stories ready to be explored. This is all but one of them.

Raina Vespera, our protagonist, takes us to the depths of depravity and sin in these short series where we witness the fall and redemption of Princess Myriel's personal protector.

NOTE: This is intended as a short series. This doesn't change the extended pause on the rest of my series as it is some sort of "expanded lore" for "The Elf Who Came Out Of My Videogame", and while it ultimately has no bearing on the story of that series, it is something I want to work on during my hiatus.

As far as origin stories go, this was top notch. She's definitely a very interesting character to say the least. I'm DEFINITELY looking forward to seeing her eventually get her payback. Bloody, brutal and bountiful it must be. The Gods demand nothing less. 💀💀💀

We're going to see a lot more violence and sex in these short series, definitely. I am very excited to see where this will take Raina, but there is an obvious end to this path she's walking. The issue here is, what will happen in the main VG Elf storyline once she reunites with Princess Myriel and Tyler. I do have a few more things planned out for her, hopefully it will be worth exploring.

Wow Raina is definately a new favorite character. She is super hot and I dig the strong leader/ mentor woman figure. She reminds me of Urbosa who is my all time favorite Zelda character I love her so much.

For some reason I always liked stories where the heroine gets captured but gets revenge later.

Awesome comic!

Funny enough, while I didn't necessarily see the Urbosa connection at first, it now makes perfect sense! I always love the Gerudos since their inception in Ocarina of Time, and Urbosa is so obviously the natural evolution of that.

For Raina, however, I decided to go with the good old fantasy Hentai tropes infamously presented in Kuroinu. The characters of Olga Discordia and Chloe in particular were paramount for what I wanted, and you can obviously see the parallelisms with Myriel and Raina. Their endings, however, are not to remain as sex slaves for the overarching villain, so in a sense it is a subversion of the trope.

In the end, I want Alfheim Chronicles and VG Elf to be two polar opposites: The first being a gritty dark fantasy tale similar to Berserk, and the latter being how these fictional characters interact with the real world. And trust me, Raina in particular is going to go through a whole character arc for VG Elf!
