  1. When I browse the video gallery, I find that many videos are unwatchable.Only this is visible: " THE MEDIA COULD NOT BE LOADED,EITHER BECAUSE THE SERVER OR NETWORK FAILED OR BECAUSE THE FORMAT IS NOT SUPPORTED"

I'm wondering if it's just for me or if it's just dead links. If they are dead links, why not remove them? If it's possible. These links introduce unnecessary clutter and make it difficult to browse the video gallery. At the end of the list, there are a lot of them, maybe even most of them.

  2. Everything they said about tessellation is true, it smoothes out the contours a bit. But in my opinion, in the case seen in your photo, tessellation alone won't help. I would advise you to use hip rotation more carefully. And use sliders and  rotations in the Butt section of the pose editor. If you want to rotate hips up so much, counter it with a slight rotate of the buttocks down. I regret too, but not all moves possible in reality (Where the skin stretches nicely over the body) are possible in this game. This is one of the game's biggest flaws, for me.

Hey guys i just started to download the game and reading through the forum.
I saw something about Hook5 Graphics and just wanted to ask you what this is

    same question

I don't know how serious you are, but I'll answer. Hook5 is software that communicates and interacts with the base game using DirectX. It is used to increase the graphical capabilities of the game because the outdated engine of this game would not be able to handle it.

Thanks to Hook5, you can give textures e.g. gloss, metallicity, roughness, surface unevenness, brilliance, luminosity. Various objects can be added to rooms. You can edit the lighting in the rooms, you can smooth the skin of the model by tessellation and many other functions.

    Take a close look at your game and then some pictures from this gallery for example ;

I think you will quickly notice the difference and see what Hook5 (especially extended) gives you.

  4. In my opinion, this game is very unfriendly to beginners. But that's a feature of any mod-based game. And TK17 is not a game of the type: buy-->unpack-->install-->play. You have to learn a lot to get the full potential of this game. For me personally, it took long months (and I only mastered the basics anyway). But it paid off and now I'm having a lot of fun playing this game.
    So don't be discouraged.

How big was it? and did you and the user also try to DL it several times? Did you guys also try the work around method?

I think very small. Only three poses. I haven't tried the around method. I don't know what it's about. I don't know if he tried. He tried DL twice, I once. Then I sent him a link to MEGA.

Hi Kanmar, thanks for your support, since in opengl I don't have issues, I think I have to find what change or new addons slow my install.

You have to. You won't be playing in OpenGL because that would take you back to prehistory. I, in cases like yours, remembered the date when the game was working fine. Then I set the addons in the order they were added and removed everything after that date. Then I added one at a time and started the game. This is how I found several "malicious" addons. So far this method has always worked.

  7. As Hoho wrote, it's about DOF, i.e. blurring the plan at which the camera is not directed. You didn't say what kind of hook you are using.

    If you have Hook4:

Open the "main" file in the binaries folder with notepad -->Find a line of text "#define DOF_TYPE   1"-->Change  1 to 0 in this line , save. Run the game.

If you have Hook5 basic free:

Open the "main11" file in the binaries folder with notepad-->Find a line of text "iDOFEnable     = 1"-->Change 1 to 0 in this line , save. Run the game.

If you have Hook5 extended unlocked paid:

Run the game-->for example, in the pose editor, press f4 to activate the menu-->select graphics-->DOF-->DOF enable change 1 to 0.

  8. I had the same situation some time ago. At least in terms of symptoms, I don't know if the causes are too.Especially with 4 or 3 characters on screen. The reason was that I started using 8K skins. The weight of these skins+clothes maps+room maps+lights+everything the game needs to run made these 4GB deplete quickly. In my case, reducing all skin maps to 4K completely and successfully solved the problem. Maybe you have a similar situation?

  9. Yes, hook 5 files stays where it is.

Now run the download of this skin again. Because Sexybastardo completed the missing files, as he wrote. When you are in MEGA download only _hook5data.zip . Extract it somewhere and then paste it into the ActiveMod folder. Once you do that, the skin will now be complete and should work.

Good luck. If you fail, let me know.

  10. You can only create animations in PoseEditor. Once you have a few animations, you can create something like a movie in the sequencer. You place your animations on a timeline, add outfits, voices, text, camera movement and placement, and so on. Or you can create your own sequences using animations created in PoseEditor if you prefer.

  11. Okay. Do it this way.

1.Extract the WinRar "Model-Files" archive. Copy the Model1065,Model1071,Model1073 folders to the Models subfolder in the Save folder .

2.Files:  Body46.cc,Face49.cc,Face49.cf and icons Body46,Face49, copy to the Save folder.

3 .Create a folder, name it for example "Skin Darla" and extract the contents of "Skin - Female - SB DARLAMILF H5 4x1x" into it. Then place it in ActiveMod.

What you posted is missing reference to the following lines in the "pass" files:                                              stage3 = _hook5data\common_skin\fembody_spec.dds
    stage4 = _hook5data\common_skin\fembody_sub.dds

This applies to all parts of the body.

If you don't have it in "_hook5data" in your ActiveMod folder, then the skin is incomplete and will not work. But if it is, then it can be fixed.

If everything is ok, select the appropriate model in the customizer room. In the "Body" category, load Body46 and in the Advanced FaceMaker category, load Face49 (or as the author called them). Choose the right skin and you have your Darla.

  12. Hello. You worded it a bit imprecisely. It would be nice to see what you downloaded. What elements does this model consist of?

Generally it is: Body mod to Addons folder. ActiveMod skin. Model files (for example, Model1125) to the Models subfolder in the Save folder. Hair textures for ActiveMod. Hair mod in  Addons.

  13. Same for me. But I recall that the administrators warned that strange and unforeseen crashes may occur during the site move. I hope that's the case. And not like this:

Sadly apparently this site is also dying like MG.Too bad it was a nice site. 😪😪😪

  14. Well. I have not yet seen a room that is not a default one and that does not require an add-on.When you add new textures to a room already built into the game, all you need is ActiveMod. Maybe it just so happened and you didn't need addons before. Otherwise you need an add-on. For example, room "292 A New Loft" is not a default room.

  15. The only thing I can think of based on the scant information you've provided. In addition to placing these rooms in ActiveMod, have you installed add-ons in the Addon folder? Have you made sure that these rooms do not require a special object package? (for example Siberia pack) . Unfortunately I don't have these rooms so I don't know.

  16. Glad someone brought this up. I agree that body part looks terrible. There are those absurd shadows you mentioned in your post. You can also see them in the works of many other people. In addition, there is a seam between the skin of the body and the skin of the genitals. It is always visible no matter what you do. If you match the texture, norm and spec in the shade, the seam will be visible in the light. If you adjust it in the light, it will be visible in the shade. In addition, this body part behaves very badly when the pose of the model deviates from neutral. A simple squat causes the body to bend there as if it were made of aluminum foil. They create some weird, disgusting inequalities. And of course, manipulations with the buttocks will not help. It'll ease it up a bit.

And yet it is a sensitive place in an erotic/pornographic game. Due to its location near the genitals. I think that's a really big "pain in the ass" of the game. But probably impossible to remove since it's been around for so many years.
