I hope you're picking the option to move everyone, like move all 2/3/4 bodies at the same time? I mean ,I hope you're not only moving 1 body.

As for the rotation, yeah, it messes up poses, the more you rotate, the more you change stuff. Having bodyparts connects helps a bit to rotate 2 people who are interacting. You usually have to do some corrections, that's just part of the game.

There's one thing that does happen at times, I've done this plenty of times: the pose gets messed up in the middle, like it goes completely haywire. In case you have that, then the way to fix it, is to copy your initial start pose, or whatever pose that's supposed to repeat. To make sure, it is best to compy your starting pose, copy, paste at the end of the loop. In some cases when you don't do that, it the whole poses gets bugged badly.

If you're talking about Room230, the version I have does have a number of pose positions, and the alt & cntrl movements work fine in Freemode.

The one I'm using is the version available here:  Room 230 Punisher Room - Legacy Rooms - Klub Exile

When I need to move a pose I check the following first, then move to the location I want.

Enable all person

Disable key editing

I then set camera view and test pose, if all is good, I then save with new name.

Cheers

Honestly, you may want to consider learning how to add positions to rooms yourself. Doesn't work well for H5 rooms (since poses are based off a given non-h5 room) but once you learn how to do it, it's pretty easy to replicate (though a pain to line things up really well). Once done, for basic poses (ones based off the standard furniture 'table, floor, chair, etc), you'll never have to have multiple poses for the same room with only translations/rotations being the difference. Also, far more flexible for rotations without breaking poses.
