Help with F_Stockings

Heyas,

Found a nice texture I wanted to use for stockings, so I added an activemod folder with the files F_Stockings.png and F_StockingsFeet.png, in the believe it would add to some default stockings.

Since I haven't dealt with clothes textures before, I am very likely doing something horribly wrong, as they don't show up in game (as in: they are not listed) 

What do I need to do?

EDIT: For shits and giggles I renamed them in mod_xxx and added txf files for them, with the result they were listed, but did not really show up on the character. I did notice some small patch of texture on the right heel, though 

Do I need to resize the pngs for that (They are currently in a weird 512 x 372 and 256 x 256) ?

Does the problem come from using 4k mod?

All mine are sized at 512 x 512 for the legs and 256 x 256 for the feet - and display fine using 1x resolution.

Could well be the 4x mod alters their display properties as it does for other skin applied textures.

Thanks. I will probably try to see how they look on a 1x skin. Should have done that before, but I was working and not really thinking straight

Which will only work, if I remove the 4k mod. Otherwise those stockings don't show, unless I add mod_ in front of them.

Ooh, just found one sized at 512 x 372, but that still displays okay.  Weird...

Nope - no resizing mods.  Unfortunately my system pile of junk just can't handle that file size in this game.

Yep, indeed! 4K mod was the issue. After removing Body4kMod everything works as intended. Thanks man.

Thought I would be smart and resized the textures and readded the body4xMod. Stockings work fine, but now my male character got the eyelash bug out of nowhere.

I would laugh, if I didn't fee l like biting the table. I want to puke.
