Nylon mask (hood)

Guest

Question

Hello! Can somebody make something like this? I think it will be very nice addition to this great game. Maybe someone with 3d modeling knowledge can edit existing ski mask addon and make textures transparent, then I will try to edit textures further. 1.jpg

Textures can be made transparent in Photoshop, not specifically in 3D modelling apps.

Probably any ski mask, or any mask is hiding the head and for sure is hiding the hair. If you add that nylon mask texture, what you are going to do with the hair?

I tried to make textures for ski mask transparent, but it doesn't work, it shows texture in game solid. As for the hair, I think there is a layer beneath the hair when hair is hidden, so it would work to some degree. It was just an idea, best thing to do is to make 3D model if it is possible. I don't have experience with that, but maybe I will try to do it when i have some time. Thank you for your answer and question, and excuse my bad english 🙂

When making a texture transparent, you need to make sure the corresponding .txf reads "RGBA_8888" "AlphaBlend" or "RGBA_8888" "AlphaBlend/AlphaMask/WriteZ"

I've just knocked this up for you very quickly, hope it might be of some use until something better comes along  :
