A beast on the hunt

Here's a pic from a project I'm working on in collaboration with Trapp, inspired by his blog post about his main girl, Daniela Oliveras. Here we have Captain John Herrig, 6 years prior to the events of Stiel Maiden. In his hands, his most trusted weapon...his custom M4A1 SOPMOD he nicknamed "Algoroth"...after the feared Orc warlord of the same name. I just really liked the way this pic came out. Probably won't use it in the actual comic, so I decided to throw it into my gun gallery. I can't go into deep detail about the project, as I want the events within to be a surprise. But it will be a glimpse into mind and philosophy of war of "Beast"...and serve as a pivotal moment in the life and career of Herrig.
