Daniel Trembley was forced to separated from Yunuen's mother after her birth. Her birth caused great comotion and outrage between Daniel's and Itzel's families, that saw Yunuen's birth a bad portent. They agreed that Yunuen would be safer with Itzel, at least on her childhood, to protect her from the harsh canadian laws to indoctrinate indigenous children and member's from Daniel's community, less tolerant with Yunuen's nature than Itzel's community.
