If you are applying more than one texture to a mesh you do that by adding multiple materials to the mesh.  I believe the game will only read one texture per material. If you have separated the clothing into multiple meshes then just create a new material per mesh alt1, alt2, alt3, etc...

If you are trying to apply different materials to different parts of he mesh that is a bit more involved. You will then need to assign vertex groups to different materials.

can u tell me what im doing wrong here.. ? been trying for days 😞

Simply put it removes overlapping vertices that might seem singular.  Sometimes it is just a few vertices, other times it could be thousands.  It just depends. It might also significantly reduce your poly count by removing vertices that are not necessary. Makes your addon less prone to having issues with the game.  So when you are using game assets especially, removed doubles is basically a must.  The issue @Cross happens also if your trying to port Sims4 assets.

guess ill keep that in mind for now :v tnx, do u by any chance how to apply more than 1 texture and mesh group like dp16’s R9Dress083.Gantz ?

i tried doing _alt / _alt2 but i could never get it to work..

Go to edit mode. Select all vertices. Go to mesh>cleanup>remove doubles.

    That should fuse everything together.

Edit: you should do this all the time. No matter what. You too @sevenseason

i've never do that but dp16 did tell me about it, but i have not encountered any issue when not doing it, what does 'remove double' do exactly?

you said you connected cloth from several pieces right?, try re-joining the meshes group and transfer-weight from your personal body mod

I connected a cloth from several pieces, in the basic state it looks good, the textures are also displayed as they should, but when it deforms, gaps are visible
    Can this be fixed?

ah ye usually what i meant about ‘fixing mesh’ are these,  these issue are what i meant can u share me the blender file with the texture.

i will fix it and use it as an example while updating the tutorial..

The only thing is that some clothes consist of two objects and when combining UV maps are superimposed on each other

yes.. some works are clean they only use one UV maps, i suggest to search for much newer works from the sites i provided.

there are endless stuff you can find in skyrim as the modding community is large, happy scavenging!

    It worked, thanks!
The main thing is to import it into a blender, for further there is already a guide on the forum

Most likely your Project Eve Body is a higher Poly Count then the default body....making it more forgiving when it comes to weight painting and ultimately better with clipping.  That said I would be curious in some of the resources you are using, as there are some items that interest me.  Cheers Mate!!

i think you are right about the poly that might explain the easiness 😅, sure will do share it to you once i am free in priv message..

Awesome would like to see regular sized version of these.

hi glad you are interested, however i will most likely not do it because for some reason default regular size body has a lot of clipping issue in-game, idk if its just me but i have less problem when i am making my clothes for my own body, maybe because my body mesh are always Xtra large, but if ur interested in sculpting it your own im happy to share the modders resources to you so you can give it a try. 👍
