Downloaded Model not appearing in "Codename VX" but appearing in "TK17 VX vanilla"

Both versions of the game are downloaded directly from links provided in KE.

I have tried several models but they are not appearing in the Codename VX version.

Just now, i downloaded vanilla, and installed the model and what do you know, it appears in that version.

If anyone has experience with Codename VX please help me here, it is very frustrating.

You're not the first having this problem with Codename VX. Seems like it's somehow broken in that matter.

In the below case a 'complete reinstall' helped but I'm not sure if @state808 was using CVX version

I was originally- and it seems there must be some issue in the build/ coding that does this. I had to completely re-install using that version and it still showed the same issue. So I had rebuild my entire game from the ground up and not use that version anymore. Now it works fine.

Have you tried looking in the options manager? I remember going in there and having to check the boxes for some of the models because Codename had them disabled by default. Hope that helps 🙂

Have you tried what @amaronap suggested in the post he linked? I quote his comment: "Easiest fix is to clone any model you have already. It will create new folder in save\models (let's say Model1234). Then install new downloaded model into that folder overwriting everything except base.id..".
Are you sure what he suggested does not work? For me it did time ago.

Thanks, this method worked.
