This right here has to be the most impactful, tear jerking, gut wrenching entry into the entire story. There's SO much that's revealed it's unreal. And following the story from the start there are so many payoffs to bits and lore you've dropped in previous entries. You weren't kidding when you said the revelations arch would set the stage for big things going on. I refuse to spoil any of the major details in this review, but I will say the level of emotional moments and the weight they carry is soul crushing. And even with it all there still ends up being a silver lining to everything. The biggest regret is that it took the death of John Stiel to set pretty much EVERYTHING in motion. This one raised the bar for real.

This volumed delivered on so many levels it's head spinning. A fitting ending to chapter 1 and beginning of chapter 2. Henry starting his company, Coss' promotion, the emergence of Rory's father, Trixie's scheme to find out who Bianca is...there's so much and yet it all falls into place perfectly. And then of course there's the beginning of the Luke side story. Knowing you could have used any of your own characters but deciding to go with @gobman's Kate is a stroke of genius, namely because it gets the community into your work. And speaking of Kate, you're adaptation of her, and her personality fits flawlessly into the narrative you're building with Luke. I know the next 2 volumes will be centered around him, and subsequently Kate as well. I'm really looking forward to seeing these month spanning 2 volumes are going to play out. This was a positively solid read.

This was easily the most thrilling entry in the series to date. It didn't waste any time raising the stakes, and delivering on the anticipated payoff between the 2 main characters. The final scene was everything I anticipated and more in how it played out. And the situations brewing between Cassandra, Hannah and most importantly Rachel are proving to be full of drama in and of itself. The stage has been set for all kinds of narrative fun and chaos, and as I say often "I'm here for it." Oh, and I expect Max and Dani's 1st night together to deliver the good, sir! LOL.

I'm gonna have to start from the beginning on this one. Just gave the description a read and this looks promising indeed.

The payoff to this volume sets the stage for sooooooo much else to come. This was a thoughtfully crafted entry that covers so many aspects about Vikki, while including the people she interacts with on a regular basis. But the reveal at the end, that to me personally was the best part of this volume. It opens the floodgates as to where the story can go next. This was a masterclass on how to blend fantasy into a modern setting, with plenty of irreverent humor and thought provoking social commentary weaved in for good measure. Volume 4 is definitely going to be a crowd pleaser.
