    Live at KE's 3rd Anniversary!

    Dem thighs doe...
  2. I was definitely hoping for an update on this one. And knowing you've been putting extra touch on it makes me even more excited for the release.
  3. Bee's beauty is timeless! It's not so much that she's got a bangin' ass body, her face is absolute perfection. You can clearly see she's of mixed race, because her features span both Negro and Caucasian details. Her eyes are what get me. A brown skinned girl with natural blue eyes? Hank's a lucky sum'bitch, but he knows that already.
This one delivered BIG time. You weren't joking when you said the Revelations arch would be the most pivotal story telling you've done to date. This one was packed full of emotion and showed how high the stakes are truly going forward.
This was easily the most gripping and grittiest entry to the series to date. We get a glimpse into what makes Herrig, see him destroy cartel members like paper bags, and witness the moment that made the hero become the villain. Of all of your tragic characters, his story is the most tragic of them all, because his experiences in life turned him from a national hero to the harbinger of war. It's heartbreaking to see even with all he's done, there's still empathy in him. He's not a complete monster, and his hate for the system is actually justified in a sick, twisted way. This was an emotional and thought provoking tale.
  4. The Severing is the name of the event that Vozanath destroys the veil am I right?
  5. Vigo Helwig? I'm guessing there's clear connection to a certain Mathias Vincent Helwig?
I'm loving the direction the story is heading now. It really does feel like the closing of a chapter and the start of somethin new. You mentioned in your blog that you're going to start focusing on the other characters outside of the "core 4", but the story that's developing with them could carry it's own separate series. I'm definitely with the others in having a vested interest in the Rory situation. Learning of his history is going to be a wild one since he's clearly a tragic character. And of course speaking of tragic characters, the Luke portion was top notch. Kate is a damned dynamo and excellently written for her obvious role. If the next couple Luke focused volumes deliver the way the final scene did, we're in for a treat.
This was definitely one of the most important volumes in the early going, I can tell. It set the stage for a lot of what's taken place, and also introduced us to Lori Stiel and James Sullivan, kicking off their stories as well. The final few pages are pure money. Definitely not for everyone, but I'm not everyone. I'm down for the freaky shit. Another fine entry.
So yea, I'm going back and reading all of the stuff you posted before I had joined the forum, and MAN seeing where things started compared to where they are now in the story is a treat. This one is a lot shorter than later volumes, but the depth of the story is no less impactful. Also, seeing how vastly you've improved at your craft in 3 years is also a pleasant experience. There's typos, but not enough for me to lesson my rating below 5 stars, you were still pretty new at this back then. I'm invested in all of your stories, but TLWL is the one that interests me most cuz it hits so close to home with being in relationships in the big city. Time for me to start the next volume, Sarge.
  6. He's giving serious Goh Hinazuki from Virtual Fighter vibes. What intrigues me the most about the way you're setting up Magnum Opus is how the characters are technically all "bad-guys". They're Yakuza, so that means they're inherently on the other side of the law. So I'm taking it that the overarching story is going to be from the perspective of those in the criminal world of Empire City? And you had mentioned in the past that there'd be no cross over between MO and Stiel Maiden, yet the events that I assume will unfold in SM with Raisha El in Japan will have blowback in this story at some point with the Tennouji clan? We're already just a prologue in and I've already got so many questions LOL.
  7. So he's even more of a badass than Lori and Herrig combined?
  8. Lookin' pretty gritty, Sarge. I can't wait to see how this all unfolds.
