DAZ to Blender

Hi everyone!

   I try to make (learn) some cloth addons, but first of all  i cant import collada exported from Daz to Belnder.
I use DAZ 4,21 pro and Blender 2,78. 
  when i try to import the collada exported from Daz nothing shows up in Blender.
Console Window says: Schema validation error: Critical error: ERROR_XML_PARSER_ERROR Additional: Input is not proper UTF-8, indicate encoding

I`v make not correct the exporting from DAZ? I tryed multiple Blender/DAZ versions but the result is the same.  

I apreciate any help.

Blender 2.78 is even older than Blender 2.79b that a lot of modders use.

However, if you want to use the official Daz To Blender plugin I think you need to upgrade to Blender at least 2.80.

Latest Daz To Blender plugin is made compatible with Blender 3.5.

If you want to stick to Blender versions like 2.79b, then you can export/import objects in OBJ format. 

There are also alternative like Difeomorphic, but those have their own compatibility matching issues as well.

you can use blender 3.6 for daz to blender plugin. then export to .fbx and import it to v2.79b version of blender to put back into tk17. my tk17 plugins dont work for me mind so i have not tested it beyond bringing it into older version of blender

DAZ to blender bridge works from v 2.80/2.83 and up.
